How we use AI

UsageMill is operated by Media Yard LLC, PO Box 73, Pennsauken, NJ 08110. Contact hello@usagemill.com. This page states how automated systems show up in the product.

What we use

Ingest, aggregation, plan caps, the dashboard log, and Stripe invoice-item / usage-record writes are deterministic software. We do not run a model over your usage events to decide whether an event counts or what to invoice. There is no generative assistant in the product today.

What we do not do

• Train, fine-tune, or evaluate a Media Yard model on your usage events, API keys, or emails
• Sell usage corpora
• Send usage payloads to OpenAI, Anthropic, or any other foundation-model provider for inference
• Make automated decisions about a natural person based on event content (plan caps are product limits on your UsageMill workspace, not a judgment about a person)

Operator use

Media Yard people may use AI tools on our own source code and public docs. They are not permitted to paste your production event payloads into consumer AI products.

Your use

You may generate events from your own models or products. You remain responsible for what you POST and for any automated billing decisions you attach to our ledger. Stripe’s terms still apply to invoices in your Stripe account.

If that changes

If a future optional assistant is added (for example docs search or query help), it will be described here before it touches customer data, and any model provider that receives content will be added to Privacy and DPA Annex 3 with at least 30 days’ notice. It will not train on your ledger by default.

EU AI Act note

UsageMill is metering and Stripe-write infrastructure, not a model. We do not place a general-purpose AI model on the Union market under our name. You remain responsible for what you put in an event and for any AI system in your own product.
